CHAdeMO Seminar 2 (FY2025 Session 2) Host company: Mitsubishi Motors

The second CHAdeMO Seminar (FY2025, Session 2) was held on Friday 27 February in a hybrid format. The venue for in-person attendance was the ‘Zensuido Kaikan’ in Suido-bashi, Tokyo, as for the first session; 57 participants from 38 companies gathered there, whilst 171 people registered to attend online (including in-person attendees connecting from the venue).

 The following six presentations were given:

  1. 1 ‘Mitsubishi Motors: Introduction to Energy Management (V1G/V2G) Initiatives’: Mr Kimio Yatabe, Mitsubishi Motors
  1. 2 ‘Introducing the New Nissan Leaf’: Mr Akira Teranishi, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
  1. 3 ‘Explanation of the Plug-and-Charge Mechanism Using CHAdeMO’: Mr Yuya Okada, PLUGO; Mr Akira Kabasawa, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
  1. 4 ‘Introducing Terra Charge Charging Network’: Mr Kosuke Nakagawa, Terra Charge
  1. 5 ‘Introducing the Charging Station Search App – Charging × Map Solution’: Mr Toru Otake, Zenrin
  1. 6 ‘Introducing the Rural Energy Resilience Project”: Mr Tom Barker, Cybermoor Services Ltd., UK

Presentation materials are to be published on the CHAdeMO website's Member page, but please bear with us a little longer as the site is undergoing refurbishment.

A panel exhibition was held at the venue for the first time, with 9 companies taking part. In addition to display panels, a mock-up of a charger and a connector were also exhibited. Mitsubishi Motors was the host company for this session.

The third CHAdeMO Seminar (FY2026 Session 1) is scheduled for September–October 2026, with Honda serving as the host company.
