CHAdeMO stand to showcase the latest CHAdeMO products at EVS30

CHAdeMO stand at EVS30, with a variety of latest CHAdeMO products, including the new Leaf, received many a visitor once again

EVS30, the biggest EV-related conference, took place in Stuttgart, Germany, 9-11 October, and CHAdeMO once again took advantage of this global e-mobility event on all fronts. CHAdeMO organised another joint stand in the exhibition part of EVS, presented its paper on V2X in the Symposium part of it, and organised its annual European member meeting in conjunction with the event.

The 66 sqm CHAdeMO stand, for the first time with a hanging structure that made the stand visible from all corners, hosted 8 of our members – DBT, Honda, Magnum Cap, Mitsubishi, Nissan, PR Electronics, Signet EV and Tata Consultancy Services – each bringing their latest CHAdeMO-flavoured products.

It was the European premiere for the new Nissan Leaf, which attracted many visitors who had waited for a long time for the new model of the world’s best-selling EV. Many wanted to see the charging port – now equipped with a CHAdeMO inlet and a Type 2 AC inlet – and next to it was a Mitsubishi Outlander, with its plug in the back providing 1500W electric outlet that can be handy for camping and other outdoor needs.

Signet EV was the first to show their CHAdeMO 1.2-compliant high power charger with cable dispensers to support with the handling of new generation connector assembly, while DBT brought their modular 150kW 3-standard charger and Magnum Cap showing the official charger for the upcoming Electric GT race. Honda’s V2H/G wallbox PCS, PRE’s V2G power module, and Tata’s CHAdeMO testing tool for R&D added further layers to demonstrate the robustness and expandability of the CHAdeMO world.

According to the Stuttgart Messe, there were 9700 visitors to the Exhibition. The CHAdeMO team and co-exhibitors were very happy to receive the public, EV fans, as well as the Association’s members who dropped by to say hi at our booth.
