BICYCLE-E-MOBILITY CITY EXPO 2025 was held on 11 and 12 June in Tokyo. The exhibition promotes urban development using bicycles and e-mobility, and was hosted for the 10th time this year.

All types of latest electric vehicles - passenger vehicles, trucks, motorbikes, and electric and hydrogen bicycles - were on display, as well as EV charging and discharging equipment, wireless power supply systems, and new bicycle and parking systems.

In addition to the exhibition, there were presentations on transport policies by central and local government authorities, as well as panel discussions by researchers and journalists. Mr Tomomi Hakomori from CHAdeMO Association took part in a panel discussion on Day 2 on the topic of ‘Current status and prospects of EV charging systems,’ discussing the present state of charging standards in Japan and around the world, desirable future charging infrastructure, and the importance of V2X from the perspective of urban development.

 According to the organiser, the event attracted a total of 5,641 visitors over the two days.
