A year has already passed since I assumed the responsibility of chairing CHAdeMO Associationlast September. In the General Assembly in May, we have pledged to accelerate our activities to leap forward, under the yearly slogan “Achieve Quantum Leap in Opener CHAdeMO!”

This renewal of the global Home Page is undertakenin this context. More and more international CHAdeMO members and users are enjoying the growing number of CHAdeMO fast charger installed around the world. Our Home Page upgrade in October 2012 is to better reflect these activities.The publication of CHAdeMO standard as aTechnical Standard of JIS (Japan Industrial Standard) is one of the tangible results realized in Japan in the first half of the year, contributing to the increased transparency worldwide. Meanwhile, we prepare the introduction as an IEC standard in 2013.

I am very proud of these results we have accumulated, and would deeply welcome the further collaboration of all EV stakeholders to make the e-mobility a true reality.
